B.Ed Programme's

Standards for Secondary Teacher Education Programme/B.Ed. Preamble
  • The secondary teacher education programme, commonly known as B.Ed., is meant for preparing teachers for secondary/senior secondary schools.
Duration and Intake
  • The B.Ed. programme is a regular course of two-year duration.
  • unit of 100 students approved by NCTE.
Eligibility
  • Candidates with at least 50% marks in the Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree with at least two school subjects at the graduation level are eligible for admission.
  • Admissions are made by University, through online counselling conducted by the University.
  • Reservation of seats for SC/ST/OBC, Handicapped, Women, etc. is as per policy of the University/State Government.


D.Ed Programme

The D.Ed. Program aims to train teachers for the schools in the government/private sector in India and abroad. The curriculum and evaluation systems adopted by the college are similar to those used in the typical Colleges of Education. Emphasis is given to the development of domain knowledge and teaching skills. They take foundational and experiential coursework to enable them to meet the students with linguistic, cultural, learning and behavioral diversity. Senior/Guest Lecturer for different kinds of seminar to improve students theoretical and presentation knowledge for their future.

Duration : 2 Years
